If I could make one change though I don't think that Walt was a mean person or had a small comfort zone. I think he just saw society as it was, full of greedy self-absorbed people with no respect, and he didn't want to associate with them (his family especially). This is why he takes interest in Thao, because he is unlike the rest of society (like you wrote).
